Mission statement

In expectation of a 2008 presidential election contest between the reincarnations of Benito Mussolini and Vladimir Lenin, I have set up this blog to track progress of the election, and the more outlandish statements from the candidates. Even if Giuliani and Clinton are not the nominees, the descriptors may be close enough for the actual eventual nominees. But we'll stick with the front-runners for now.
